Default Serious electrical and fire hazard.

After attending to a malfunctioning TS on the weekend and finding a connector box on top of an electric motor full of sawdust, and then seeing this photo on another forum. . . . .

. . . . this is a reminder to check you electric motor connection boxes.

In states that have a dry summer as we head into more humid autumns and winters the sawdust inside these connector boxes may absorb moisture and become conductive.
If your RCD is not working there is a chance of receiving a boot and maybe starting a fire.

Also another good reason to sort out dust collection.

The link is not working. Wood dust - if it doesn't get you one way it'll get you another!
