50 + Years
Two tears ago I posted our 49th anniversary. Last year (2016) saw our 50th come up. It turned out to be a year to forget. First Sharon's father passed away, he was 92, and well past his use by date. Then she had her thyroid removed and that had some rather unsatisfactory post procedure difficulties that resulted in the need for an angiogram in the Cairns hospital. She is only now settling down to a "normal" life style, so much so she suggested a trip overseas.
Being such a caring chappie, I raced into town and booked a trip to Japan. It just happens that there is some very, very interesting japanese craftsmen doing stuff that I admire, and co-incidently the tour stops overnight at that place. (What a co-incidence?)
2015 was the year from hell, but 2016 is starting to be a bottler . Plus it will be our 51st, all good now.
