Dont be sad, dont shed tears for her, do what she would want you to do, smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
It's too easy to picture my own little girl in that situation. I admire your attitude towards what must be a heartbreaking experience. My condolences.

My heart felt condolences to you and your family. I was first reading this at work and I couldn't look up from my monitor or everyone would have wondered why my eyes had watered up.

ssgt ..... it is never easy to read the pain in posts such as this one. With any luck the forum of your virtual friends may be able to give some support in these hard times.

May your memories of Jess live on long and strong.

    SSGT,

condolences from me & mine. I have been with friends as they passed, but I can't imagine having to do it with any of my sons or daughter. As someone said previously, you aren't meant to outlive your offspring....

I am sure you will treasure all your many memories of her willingness to fight, to hold on and work through what she had been dealt, with your help.

Hold onto those memories. They are all good. Best wishes for yourself and yours, and I will go off to have a cry with mine now....

    Cheers
    Hafgan

Jess was blessed to spend her whole life so loved. Some people live for a hundred years and never have that. She obviously did a brilliant job when she chose her family. xxxxx

Our first son died in our arms too, snuggled up in our bed. He was four, and not all afraid of dying. He told me he was going to a beautiful place to learn to fly, and that he would fly up into the treetops and wave to me. Or, as his best friend (also four at the time) put it, "Ben's going to see God and ask for his hair back."

Thinking of you, and sending Jess and Ben a hug.
"Look out! Mum's in the shed and she's got a hammer!"
