I'm converting from ScarySharp to water stones, and upgrading the honing guide.

Nice beefy 1/2" mortise chisel and a couple of skew chisels.

Framing clamp, and some nifty stay-on corners for my band clamp.

Oh, and a couple of books.

I have a set of 4 of those mortice chisels and they are brilliant. My only hiccup with them was flattening the back of the 1/2" one. I must have got the runt of the litter and it took me almost 3 hours working on 80 grit Deer paper to get a hollow section out.
FYI. When you come to make a home for that chisel, a Sutton holesaw blade (33mm - 15/16") makes a hole that will accomodate it perfectly.
FYI (2). I don't think that chisel will fit into the new Veritas jig. Mine fits OK into the old version of the jig. If that will be a problem for you, maybe you should look for the old version while you are in North America. I imagine that there would be plenty of them for sale 2nd hand over there.
