    Default 0.9mm mechanical pencil?

I have made some mechanical pencils from kits at Timberbits. They take 0.5mm leads. I have had some builders and a graphic designer wanting one that works with 0.9mm leads.

Does anyone know where I can get a kit to do a thicker (0.9mm) lead?

    Woodturninz list them.

Vaguely recall PSI listing something too.

I looked at various lead size options earlier in the year and didn't find many pencil choices in OZ. Things change though, so maybe talk to local suppliers.

    thanks tdrumnut.
I have just placed an order at Pop's shed now. Not quite what I was after (looks like I'll have to place an order from USA), but those kits look fantastic. 5.6mm leds - that will be cool

Another option is the click "power pencils" ,these have a 2 mm lead and are about the size of a streamline (has a matching parker style click as well in case you want to do sets ) plenty of options cheers ~ John
