13-4-12 The Sierra Rues
This week a Sierra Twist Pen with a few dramas. First of all we glued the tube in and Barry picked the blank up and the tube slid out about a 1/16" past the end of the blank before the glue dried and didn't notice and when we came back the glue had set so had to do a bit of fudging when turning. That was ok but when we went to fit the clip cap it was a loose fit in the tube so we had to epoxy the cap in.
Any way the timber is Birdseye Grey Gum with very little Birdseye.

Timbo, like your humour "birdseye without much birdseye!"" that is what "experience" is! learning from the things that happen. Amos
