My 1st Sierra style
Decided to give a different pen style a go. Got myself a couple of Sierra pens from Timberbits and had a go with one of the blanks kindly given to me by John ... Thanks heaps ... love the grain in this one.
3 Coats of thin CA and 3 coats of Medium CA ... no pitting this time after following some of the hints and tips from members.

Just a little bit, I can't wait to get back from work and hit the shed. It's getting hard coming up with excuses to get in to the shed what with the wife and kids wanting my attention too ! I guess a pen or 2 a week is not a bad effort for now.

Very nicely done. Obviously John's expert tuition has worked very well.
Do you know what the blank was?
Did you do the photo in a light tent?Dallas

I think it was Budgeroo ?
No light tent, just head flash. Bit of quick Photoshop.
John's tuition helped heaps. Also got a few tips off the forum. Plus I got the medium CA rather than just trying to use the thin, that made a big difference I think.
