Great work Skewturn, their well turned. As Troy said, welcome to the hobby / craft / addiction of pen turning. Like all hobbies, you'll find you will spend more & more hard earned dollars on tools and bit & pieces as you progress down the path of learning. Thankfully you don't need all that much gear to enjoy this craft. Utube is your friend, as far as getting hints and tips, also one of our forum sponsors, 'Timberbits', has a complete instructional guide in making pens. This is basically how I learn't to make pens. Steps 1 to 9 Here Videos - Pen Kits, Pen blanks, Clock Kits and wood turning accessories.

Great job Skew. Keep up the good work and save that first pen and then post it on here again in a year or two with your latest at the time. It is addictive.
