Default 2 More of my latest

    It's me again,
Here are 3 more that I have finished over the last couple of days.

The first 1 is a Black Titanium Atlas (they are now called a Carbara Pen) it is made out of Brown Mallee Burl.

The second one is a Chrome Sierra made from Mulberry.

The third one is a Flat Top American Twist Pencil also made from Mulberry

    Froggie,
I have never seen Mulberry so dark except in the middle. Is that all heartwood?

Terry, if it's the Mulberry I supplied, it came from a tree that was at least 80 yrs old when it was cut down.

It has varying shades of colour through the whole tree

    Ps nice pens Froggie

The Atlas looks like that fat lead pencil I like, gotta love that brown Mallee,The Mulberry comes up dark and swirly, the different hardware sets them up well, that is some figure, impressive all round.

    Very nice work as usual.
... my favourite - the Brown Mallee Burl.

    Keep up the good work.

Brett nice work mate but expect nothing less, great transition from hardware to the barrels the Mallee is exceptional but the Mullberry is the winner due to the colouration in it, amazing colour and figure.

Brett. I love all the woods you used, but Atlas doesn't appeal personally, but then again if I get to make one I may change my mind. Love the Sierra best. Amos BTW great work as usual.

    G'day Brett,
You already know how much I am taken with the Aussie wood. I don't know if I like the Mallee or Mulberry more. Both are beautiful. All three pens are of the top quality that you always show. The one thing about the Atlas that I do like is you get that long stretch of wood so you can see the continuous grain.

    Cheers,

    Rick

    all lookin good as ussual.
Didnt think I would like the atlas/carbara, but having made a few
I quite enjoy them, and as Rick said, A bigger uninterupted area
