2 Willow Leaf Hakea and one Myrtle Sierras
About a year ago the council took out all Willow Leaf Hakeas because they are considered a weed! from the tree out the front of our place grabbed a couple logs, and here they are, 1st two on the left, the one on the right is Myrtle burl. Amos

Nice pens there Amos. I really like the Hakea family of woods (and closely related species)

Silver Needlewood is a Hakea as well (Hakea leucoptera)... very closely related to Banksias and similar grain pattern to Grevillia (or at least the Grevillia I have used).
CorbsIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
