I got mine
I got my goodies from Chuck the other day,I was away when they arrived and it was a week before I got to open it.
A rather large parcel ,A great selection of Blanks none that I have ever used before and not one but two great pens. Well done and many thanks to my swapee and the brave person who put this years swap together.

Hi,
Does anyone have maybe some alternate contact details for Jeff_In_Indiana.
He is still AWOL on my daughter, she sent her parcel off at the same time that I did. My partner received his a couple of weeks ago. And I've received mine.
I'm wondering if its maybe the weather or something over that way, as he had mentioned it wasn't good, but she hasn't heard from him in over four weeks, and his last contact was 'email you soon'.
I'm now starting to feel bad that hers isn't seeming to be working out.
Any help or suggestions appreciated at this stage.
Hoping that there is an explanation and he's OK, and everything works out in the end.

Gavin, just checked IAP and he still hasn't been on there since Feb 10.
Have sent an email to a friend on IAP who lives in Indianapolis, hoping that he can shed some light on what is happening with Jeff.
Stay tuned
Tel your daughter that one way or another she will receive a swap pen

Thanks to a concerted effort by dalecamino (Chuck) and Sam (simomatra) Jeff has now been contacted.
It appears that has sickness in the family and has not been able to log on to either the pen forums.
He has promised to contact his swap partner and get to the pen asap.
Thanks to every one for their best efforts

This Swap is Insane
Okay,i was trying to think of a clever way to rant about how this swap went. I just got mine today (posted mine to Australia Tuesday - another story) Well my swap partner SWINO really did a number on me. My wife picked the heavy package up at the post office and then hid it in my office. I found it an played it smart by not even trying to save the packaging. Last time I tried cost me 6 stiches on my thumb. Then it took foever to find the pen in this box full of stuff. Being a persistant individual I prevailed and un-earthed a Rhodium and Gold Statesman Fountain dressed in Coolabah. I've got no idea what to do with the rest of this stuff....
Seriously over the top.........I've already got an idea for a new pen so don't be suprised if another package show up....

That is a beautiful pen and the assortment of blanks is fantastic. I believe that the Australian tradition is that you must now turn pens from all of the timber sent to you in that package and send the pens to the first person who tells you about the Australian tradition. I'll PM my address
Congratulations on a great swap!

I know that Kenny has received the pens and blanks, so here is what I sent him.
The Dayacom pen is figured Myrtle with 20+ coats of WOP and the EB with the Southern cross in the finial is one of my own casts. Kenny had requested some black wattle but I had no luck drilling it , I have sent him some blanks to try hopefully he will make it
Really impressed with the quality of the swaps this year, keep the picture coming.

Mike, The way I heard, it's the first Australian......withSt patty's Day around the corner, my blarney detector is in high gear. With the blarney your talking you must have a large touch of the Irish....Nice try though...

My Offering!
I figured I post these now since Stephen has received the pen. I really like this blank from Exotics.
As always, constructive criticism is encouraged. Thanks __________________
