    Default #2MT Dead Center

Hey fellers. Been trying to find an OZ supplier of #2MT Dead centers as I wanted to try turning between centers. Seems none of our local pen turning suppliers sell them. There are some on ebay, and Amazon, but I really thought one of our guys would sell them. Any ideas ??

McJings in Sydney are cheap and have a good range of reasonable bits of gear. Vicmarc Machinery www.vicmarc.com in Brisbane may be a little dearer but probably supply gear of a higher quality.

I noticed with the McJing dead centre that my bushes (stainless steel) were leaving very small grove marks on the dead centre. I think I might have had the tailstock over tightened.

Hey thanks guys, just did an online order with Mc Jing tools. I also got a set of 1-13mm transfer punches for the rare pen disassembly job, ha ha.

Any metalwork store should have them, pretty standard items at places that sell metal lathes etc.
