    Default 300 Winchester Mag

This is a once fired casing with a real bullet nib wrapped in Desert Camo acrylic.

Looks good I take it the pistol doesn't use this calibre???

About time I got off my backside and make some of these.

Like the Copper Cigar, nice combo.

Very nice looking pen Whaler - the colours blend in very well The Walther P22 looks a bit intimidating.

Looks good, but I assume you mean the cartridge was once fired? If the bullet was fired it wouldn't look any where near that good.

A cartridge consists of a casing, a primer, powder and a bullet

Les, I get the kits from Bear Tooth Woods they are made up by The Pensmith and I believe he solders them in.

    Sorry Dick,

I didn't realize it was a kit, thought it was a real projectile and casing you did from scratch.

I like it a lot Dick, the copper plating goes well with the casing and the camo top sets it off nicely. Be good if they could manufacture a rifle clip for the Cigar as well. I have looked at the Pensmith kits for sometime now, I know you may pay a bit for them but if you do have time to sit down and do a big production run of drilling projectiles and prepping casings they save you time. Might have to invest in an order soon.

    Cheers
    Darren

Sorry mate, I wasn't having a go at you if that was how it came across. I actually misread the original post and thought it said once fired bullet. I know what a casing is, I use these things for a living and yet another mistake by me was writing cartridge rather than casing.

Apologies again and consider my head pulled firmly in.

Les, they are real bullets and casings. I don't see any advantage in wasting my time with loose components when I can get a quality kit ready to turn.
