Wow that rope is sweet the impact stops at the top the bottom for me is too plain and skinny for me, would love to see the whole pen with impact all the way, may be the black is not the best bottom.
That machine and your ideas are coming together.

I just find it amazing that you know how to do something like that. Good work!

Wow! Amazing. But black bit does let it down. Maybe more curvaceous would suit better.:hmm

Kruger,
Interesting pen to say the least. Now that you have had your ornamental mill for a while, do you find it to be a worthwhile investment? Which one did you buy? I have been looking at those for a year or so, but that is a rather large investment.

i have bought a revo craftmaster from legacy.
it is a large investment, but it give me a large pleasure.
besides this, I sold balusters in spirale which amortized the expense. The only thing which misses, it is a calibreuse sanding machine to fabricate wooden plates of the same thickness as the blades of saw and time to play with all this. All comments are welcome

Thank you for the feedback. I guess it is time for me to get another pickle jar (for what little spare change the missus misses).

Kruger, you are really getting into it, love the Rope section very much, The ebony is well turned but may need different shaping to match the rope. Amos
