7-12-2012 Executive Clicker
This week we made a Executive Clicker from Timber Bits which is exactly the same as a Longwood. We are a bit disappointed with the finish which is CA that has somehow ended up with white flecks embedded in the CA which we couldn't sand out so we just have to accept it isn't the best finished pen.

Shame about the finish.
Looks like something has managed to contaminate the CA.

It looks like the CA is lifting in parts. The white specks may be from moisture contamination. You could disassemble it using transfer punches and sand it back to the beginning and re-coat it. Do you use an accelerator on the CA after you apply it?

Are you confusing me with David from Timberbits?
Only accelerator that I could see on Timberbits site is the Mitrefix one, which looks to be an aerosol one which should be fine unless you were drowning the blank with it, only needs a half second squizz.
Was the timber dry?Cheers
