No 9 Click Pen Kits
Hi all,
I want to source No 9 Click Pen kits/parts.
I purchased some a few years ago from CWS but they are out of stock. Haven't done any pen turning for a couple of years but want to get back into it as daughter has asked for a few more like the one I previously made for her.
Carbatec have them in packs of 5 and wondering if anybody else may stock. GPW, Timberbits and Pop's Shed don't seem to carry that style.
Cheers
Scott

This lot Steve's Woodcraft sell some different pens than what’s commonly available in Australia. I haven’t shopped from them yet, but I know someone else who is a happy customer of theirs.
They don’t have a “Pen 9” as such, but the Slimline Pro Gel Click Pen Kit – Steve's Woodcraft looks similar from memory. It uses a Parker style refill.
Edit- the refill looks like a Parker style, but I would double check with them before purchasing if it would be an issue.Brad.

Not sure how long Steve's Woodcraft have been around but they certainly have a good array of pen kits at reasonable prices. I only came across them when I was looking for some black CA.

Black CA? Sounds interesting.

Good for filling small cracks or holes in timber either as a contrast or blending in, especially pens. I have traditionally used normal CA and coffee grinds or Ebony dust to do this but recently found out about the black CA so thought I would try it.

EAs I said, I haven’t shopped from them yet, but from what I have read on another site, Steve has passed and his Wife is running the show now. From what I have heard, she has been keeping the business going. I haven’t been doing much pen work lately, but hopefully that will change soon, and I will buy some of the EDC kits. I am anxious to see if they live up to the reports. The best clickers available, so they say.
Brad.

I just looked back through their Instagram posts and see that Steve passed away about 6 months ago. Such a shame and he was only 44 years old.

I had the privilige of visiting Samantha at Steves Woodcraft in Melbourne last December, one most friendly and certainly efficient lady. The business was m
named after her husband Steve who died suddenly last year.Met Steve and Sam here in Canberra at the modified Working With Wood Show about a year ago.A personal friend of mine Casey with others have helped Sam to build her business which is quite strong. Thanks for the opportunity to set the record right with regard to this business.
