    Default Acrylic Perfume Atomizers

Here is a couple Perfume Atomizers i have made. I have never been a real fan of the little button that is usually on top and bottom of the atomizers. I have made them on an expanding chuck i made on the metal lathe. This way i could leave one end closed. the tubes were trimmed to keep everything looking in propagation. I'm happy with the results.

any thoughts or comments would be appreciated

    Very Nice work Stevo

They are extremely well done. I would like to know more about how you made them and any more info you would care to share about the mandrel you made them with.

    Cheers Ian

    thanks for the positive coments

sadly i dont make the resin myself, i buy it from bruce at wood n workshop. he makes some amazing colours. One day i will have a crack at it.

here is a couple photos of the mandrels i made. the first one was used to make the brown/blue one but it had a little bit too much flex. i simply mounted it in a drill chuck. the second one it slightly heavier and mounted in a Morse taper i made.

i can put some up pics of it on the lathe with a blank mounted if that would help. im planning on making another one in the next couple days.

Beautiful Stevo. I don't particularly like the button top either. I will be interested in finding out more about your mandrel and how you made it.
    Cheers, Shirley
