Acrylics and a PITH
Been a long time since I stepped up to the lathe (well seems like a long time). Today I grabbed my chance to do some turning.
First up is a JR Gent Rollerball in Purple Heart, sanded to 1200 then 12 coats CA and usuall MM and Brasso. This pen will have a fountain pen partner very soon.
Then is a Violet Crumble Cigar. A purple and orange acrylic, micromeshed and given a polish.
Next is a Polaris in grey and orange. I love the silver highlights.
Also an Aqua Blue streamline with the same finish (my favourite of the lot). All the acrylics from gpw.
Finally the pen I was sent in the IAP spring Pith. It is a Slimline in riverwood pine. There was meant to be two pens but when I opened the box somebody (possibly quarantine) had helped themselves to my partners hard work which is a little dissapointing. But the oen he sent has a great fit and finish and is a pleasure to write with.

Thanks Ian. I do love acrylics and find that most pens I sell are to women and they go more for the pretty colours than the wood

All very nice pens, love Purple Heart, but the blue stream line is the winner I think, you haven't lost your touch
