    Default First acrylics (streamlines)

    Hi all
    Here is some not so good pics (my fault or the $80 camera)
    of my first attempt at acrylics.Blanks & kits from Chris at australianwoodcraft.com.au Sanded to 600 grit then 0000 steel wool then polished with brasso.

    Looking good, although the bottom one is a bit dark to see. Thast camera must sure have a wide angle lens, unless you managed to turn that blue one inthe first photo like a banana?

    The girls at work love my acrylics. I hardly get a chance to do any wood as the last 3 weekends I've had to do custom resin blanks they've ordered, but I'm not complaining about the sales, although it'd be nice if they wanted something more than slimline/streamlines

    I had some meguiars mirror glaze
    in the shed so i put a bit of that on them.
    I'll have to buy some plastx apparently it works well.

    Nice work Jason, they all look good The black marble does not show up particularly well in the photo, were you happy with this one? Its one of my favourites.

    Yes Chris i liked the marble one,
    the pictures don't show the real colour properly
    in any of the pens.I should buy a decent camera
    but i have better things to spend my money on like
    more blanks & kits.

    great work for your first acrylics dont worry about the pics they not that bad besides you are a turner like the rest of us , not a photographer thats why i turn
