    Hi
When I doing it I'm using decal paper from Decal Paper clear for inkjet printer found laser printer paper to thick
To do it, I put 3-4 layer of CA, and a very light polish and put the label on and let dry for at least 1hr, and then put another 4-5 layers of CA, and then polish with MM and as final using Brasso or something similar. But I have only used wood on my pens
Don't fotrget to spray the label with clear lacquer before putting it on the pen

    Thanks for the reply
I should have been a bit more specific
I used clear inkjet paper, printed the decal out and then sprayed this (Craft Accessories Boyle Matt Spray 431 - Bunnings Warehouse ) and i have also tried this (Craft Accessories Boyle 400g Gloss Spray 461 - Bunnings Warehouse )
    and let the sealer dry.
I then turned the acrylic to just under size and fully sanded down to 1200 wet and dry and applied the decal and let it dry.
At this point even once it was all dry it looked really good, couldn't see the outline of where the decal was cut.
Then i applied 5 coats of thin CA and finished as normal slight sand with 1200 wet and dry, EEE, and then polish.
So am i doing something wrong or is it the sealer ?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    cheers

    Hi
Only difference i can see is I put 3-4 layer of CA before I put the label on, and using a different sealer, I got that from Supa cheap auto
Another thing can be you are getting a reaction between acrylic and label, try cover with CA 2-3 layers and put the label on that
    Cheers

Sorry to ask the obvious, but the sealer you are using is it acrylic ? and i also use one fro Supercheap autos. When i do mine the edge of the decal is not too obvious but if you look for it you will find it. I have found that if you cut the decal as close as you can to the print it is less noticeable.

    Thanks Tony

Nothing just need to have a couple more failures and you will get it right . Hang in there.
