Thank you
My dear fellow Pen Turners and woodworkers, I have received your words of encouragement and thanks, after I read the posts I went to look in the mirror--was this the fellow they are talking about!!??!! So I have come back after Greg visited me, the Certificate sent from UBEAUT has pride of place in the room where I am. Wasson-I still have maturing blanks of olive root!!! was hoping to make a few more, and Big Shed has greatly helped me along my journey. Peter Haye rang me and Greg made his way through traffic jams to get to me. I remember you my dear friends-I REMEMBER-- Sam has contacted me and encouraged me from time to time. Forgive me if you are not mentioned by name, I do care that none of you be hurt if I forget the great things you have done for me. From my early days til now, the Forum has helped me tremendously- that is-YOU the turners on the Forum, THANK YOU, Amos

I went to see Amos this morning as he has mentioned in his post above. I was pleased to be able to present a Certificate of Appreciation to Amos on behalf of Neil (Ubeaut) and all Amos' colleagues and friends in the Pen Turning Forum. He is keeping up his strength and wants to get back into pen turning. All the very best Amos.

Hello Amos. Listen you get better and stronger now. We need you here. I need to see you making pens and then taking photos that do not look like they are going to fall off the table We maybe miles apart by land and water but we are close by friendship. Your help on this site always was a welcome to read. Good to see you posting my friend.

Amos I have moved from the olive fields to north eastern Vic,I have some aged dressed she-oak, 6" x 1.5" perfect for your pens if you still desire to start up your lathe.
If so please advise and I will get some to you.
