    Default Ancient river redgum

Ancient river red gum in a stretch fountain pen with black Ti plating.

The blank came from Neil at the last get together I was at on the Gold Coast, many thanks Neil it has turned out a beauty. It is off to Canberra to meet up with it rollerball partner made 12 months ago.

Usual sanding and polishing plus filling voids to 12000 MM then 20 coats of WOP
wet polishing with MM then Autosol.

The nib has been upgraded to a medium nib form Heritage, part of the bulk buy, Thanks Russell for all the organising.

Sam, it looks very dark, almost like the bakelite one, very beautiful. Amos

    Looks great Sam

Once turned it looks very simliar to Queen Ebony, but it has that typical red-gum grain.

Wow! Another beauty, Sam. Grace and elegance. The nib is a wonderful addition and really makes the pen.
