    Default first apollo rollerball

This is the first Apollo roller ball for me, from Penn State. Its been a long time since I used buckeye burl and the two seemed destined for each other. I like it, but an not sure of all the black accents yet. I went back to the CA finish on this one.

Same pen, slightly different fittings and hardware. Not sure I am sold on it, but the price is right!

    Amos,
All I did was use BLO and CA. The beautiful color is natural!
You need to save some saw dust for filler, its pithy and soft...easy to overturn. I got the blanks from www.dale-the-burl-guy.com
he sells good stuff and reasonable.
