    Default Artist Pencils

    Hey There,

    I have done a search and the latest results were from Dec 2009, Is there any Aussie suppliers of the Artist / Sketch Pencil, I had a request from out of the blue today, the client has seen a pencil with a few different colored leads at about 5-6 mm, and they were hoping that I could make some for them. I have seen them on the CSUSA site, but I would prefer to use Australian suppliers.

    There are a few different types and names , the one you want for colored leads may be called a workshop pencil or artist pencil ,takes about a 6mm lead, the smaller model takes a 3 mm lead and only black lead as far as I know, check o43 turning or carbatec,others may stock them as well good luck with them , cheers ~ John

    I buy mine from Mark at 043turning. Give him a call, they don't show up on his web site.

    Thanks for the Info, I will contact Mark at 043,

    Schaf, I saw some red 3mm leads at Jacksons Stationary supplies here in Town, and the lady there said that that is the only color that she has seen other than Black.
