    Default I need assistance please

    Folks.
I am trying to make some bullet pens for the RSL branch I am a member of.
Following is my attempts up to date, and they are not worth taking out of my shed.
Pic 1 is the cartridges I am using.
Pic 2 is the type of projectile
    Pic 3 is the projectile
Pic 4 is the Case with tube inserted (as can be seen not central)
Pic 5 is the pen actuator inserted (note it is not inserted very far as nib extends out when closed)
Pic 6 is the two cartridges together (note they are not central to each other.

Can someone please explain where I am going wrong as it is driving me insane trying to work out what to do next (apart from give it up as a bad investment)

    Thank folks.

    Les.
    Thank you for that.
Being pretty slow in thinking at times I never thought to look in the tutorials.
Back to the drawing board and start again .

Now I rekon I will make some that are worth taking out of the shed.

cookie the one thing i have noticed that I think you are doing that i don't like at all BUT this is only my opinion and that is the second casing on top to use instead of a top tube. i would throw it away and either use cammo Acrylic or use timber. It would look much better than the other casing but it's up to you ?

    Cheers Ian

I agree with the rotating of the tubes but the lads at the RSL like them the way shown. I rekon they are wrong but they are the customer.
Tried the heat shrink but it seems to be still loose. Will keep trying Les's tute and maybe modify to suit me as I go.
    Thanks all for your input.
    Rekon it is great.

i have not as yet done this but there has to be a multitude of things that can be used for spacers, i would actually try some of the copper foil tape that i used for the steampunked cigar, a couple of wraps should do the job and it is solid substance so there should be no play over time

most of the bullet pens i have seen that have been constructed the way they want actually have a smaller cartridge as the top, 223 i think,i didn't like the look so i never took a lot of notice, i don't think they had a tube inserted which could mean that they fit straight on without any probs

    i hope this helps
