My attempt
I'm trying to get some multi coloured blanks happening, this one is nothing like I imagined but I love it anyway and GPW's Jnr Majestic is such a magnificent kit to wrap it around.
cheers

That is a class act!!!
Just wondering if you could get more shine with your finish?

I think there is a depth to that blank(pen) that is not fully captured in photos, great work,Amos

I really like the touch of blue in the blank. It almost looks like you filled a crack in a wood blank with turquoise.

looks pretty good mate, its all down hill from here
to finsh resins and acrylics i wet sand with all sand paper
240
320
600
then i wet sand with the top 6 colors of micromesh
the final step for me is
i have a cloth wheel on one end of my bench grinder, i use a white buffing compound meant for aluminum
following this method i get a high gloss shine, glass like on the clear resin, and for some reason the buffing compound stops finger prints
to finish CA, i start at the micromesh stage and follow through to the buffing as well
i hope this helps

Nice work undies. Are you sanding the blank length ways between each grit?

Nice work. I'd run through all the micro mesh in order as the various grits will remove the scratches. The 1500 should take out a lot of the scratches. By 12000 you should not be able to see any, unless there were deep gouges in the acrylic to begin with.

Undies I agree with all the others and you should use whatever you have in regards to sanding but a quick fix and polish is to use Brasso. It works great and does the job in no time.
I have NOT and will NOT use the brasso on a CA finish so I have no idea how it goes.
Cheers Ian
