    Default Aussie Cyprus

Finished with 6 coats of Med CA buffed with extra fine steel wool to get a nice warm wood feel with a satin finish.
Dressed in a Cigar Hybrid Black Titanium/Platinum Double Twist Cigar.

Turns like butter, has a pleasant odor and takes a finish easily.

    Default The Cypress.

    Hi Les,
Not sure which one you have, but I use a lot of Cypress, & they like to put PINE after it.
Firstly it doesn't Sand like pine. There is another one, that is known as Murray Pine, very Oily, Borers don't like it, sand to hard & it splits. Not for me.
I like to use smaller Branches 75mm - 3in. down, & you can get a few Twig Knots, which you don't have to fill, & as you've noticed,it does finish very well.
At times I have had it finished that well, that you can see through the Grain,Tiger Eye. I surprise myself.
    Regards,
    issatree.
