Have bought a fair bit from Ernie, he is a very good communicator and usually ships same or next day.

Goods arrive in about 7 days, his postage charges are very good, and he can pack very well in the USPS Flat Rate boxes.

    Highly recommended.

I dont know, so this is more of a question than an answer, but how does it go as to customs with reference to importing USA wood products. I would have thought it would need radiated to kill off any possible bugs, and that could be costly. I know a guy who imported a second hand car and when he got it the inside had been steam cleaned and door panels ripped off etc. Turned out to be a total waste of time and money.

No borer holes, no bark, no animal products after that mostly no problems.

    My experiences OK.

I did a swap with Bruce here and sent 2 small flat rate boxes for cheaper than a medium flat rate, I could have sent 3 of them for less as well so if you order more ask Ernie if he would be willing to ship the order in a couple of packages for savings sake.

Ernie is excellent to deal with and no problem with his postage as opposed to some. Do as Jerry aka Seer said and split the parcel up.

The surcharge only works going into the states not out which is good for us but no good for them . Jerry and I were lucky to do the swap before it came in. You could always if shipping to the US sent multiple boxes under 500 grms

i deal with them a fair bit and they are good , but do not count on 1 week to arrive unless you live a main city ( not bear tooths fault though ) for me the stuff takes 2 weeks or a tad more some times , i have a package some where on its way to me at the moment .
our mail for texas seems to do a grand tour once it lands in oz

Maybe OzPost gets confused and sends it back to the Texas US?

I have a parcel a powered respirator in the OS mail and it has been parked in Singapore for nearly 30 hours now and as it is coming Fedex and top dollar I am not unpressed, Normal mail would have beaten it by far in time and money.

i got a parcel early this week from a bow making supply place in the US first time dealing with them and i never looked at the postage options ( if there was any )
the parcel got here in about 4 days i think maybe it was 5 , anyway US to sydney 1 day then sydney to me the other 3 or 4 days .
the bad bit was you dont know what the postage will be until you look after the transaction is made and its a done deal .
the value of the goods was $97.0 and the postage was .............. $51.60 .
so next time i order from this archery mob i will need to look at the postage options me thinks .
minister for war and finance was not happy with me at all

Ernie is a top guy to deal with, always communicates and ships promptly, and as far as I am concerned, comes with the highest recommendations.
