    Default Aussie Sierra

A gold/gunmetal sierra (Timberbits) with my home made Aussie flag with real gum leaves, cast in resinsaver. Sanded to 600 mm to 12000 wet mm to 12000, cut and polish paste 3 times. I like the result and I like this casting fun, the possibilities are endless.

    cheers

Undies, I like the idea of the of the Aussie flag and the gum leaves. The thing that throws me is the gum leaf coming around into the flag. What you are doing is great and i hope to get there one day soon. If you could cast a single leaf on the opposite side of the flag that would be a good one to see. If you ever cast any Eureka Flag pen blanks let me know how much and I would very very interested. keep going I like what you are doing.

How does the leaf change over time? Being sealed, I would assume it will maintain it's structural integrity, but I'm guessing the colour will change? Or maybe not, since it's not exposed to the atmosphere? Do you have any long-term results?
