Default Australia Day Pen Swap 2018

Well we have arrived into 2018, so it’s time for the Australia Day Pen Swap. I’ve organised it the last few years but am looking for someone else to take over control (it’s very easy). If nobody wants to take over I will still be running it. It is a great way to try something new and open to all levels of turner.
Why is my work bench never tidy?

Basically we all throw our names at the organiser. They pull the names out if a hat and pair you up with someone else. You both turn a pen, pop it in the mail and make the swap. Most I have been involved with often includes throwing a few blanks in (purely up to the entrants to converse/organise that bit) but it's a great way to push your ability knowing another pen turner will be cherishing one of your works.

It's a really enjoyable and rewarding experience I have found and look forward to it every year.

Alas I can't help out with the organisation due to lack of time but I'll certainly be entering
