Default Australia Day Pen Swap pen

Here's the pen which I sent to the States as part of the recent pen swap. It's touched down at the other end so I'm safe posting a pic and the process here. The concept is pretty simple but rather than using one wood I used 20 different ones (each an Australian Native). The black veneer is just cardboard. I used medium CA to glue up but should have used thin to soak the cardboard more. I had issues drilling the blank but got there in the end. Kit is an Australiana Elegant Beauty and the finish is CA.

    Hope you like it.

Thanks team, I learnt a few lessons making this one and have a couple of orders for more. I do have to say that I'm pretty happy with the finished pen too

Great selection of timbers and a nicely finished pen. The laminated look good but there is a lot of work in making them.
