Back into it
After spending 6 weeks re-building our kitchen, I finally got a bit of shed time. Here's 2 GPW Sierra Majestic pens, one in Woody Pear, the other in Musk. A GPW Jr Majestic in Ancient Kauri Pine, and a Timberbits Jr Victor in Burl Eucalyptus. All 20 coats of thin CA + Brasso + Maguire's Speed Glaze.
I never forget anything I remember !!

Hey Ian. Mate, I accidently got these kits from Gary Pye Woodturning. This particular model is of 'lesser quality' than these ..... Sierra Majestic Chrome and Gold Titanium .... but of coarse at a lesser $ price. Ya get what ya pay for (in pen kits), as you well know. The plating is pretty thin, scratched, & poxy, and the trim is 'ordinary' at best. Well worth paying for the better quality 'Dayacom' Sierra Majestic, from Gary Pye Woodturning as they are a real winner in the quality + WOW factor department. Cheers Ian.I never forget anything I remember !!

Great work Steve. Beautifully made and great blanks. The old Euc burl is hard to beat for price and grain quality. I get a slab of it every so often from Greg Woods in Sydney (on the Timber Market forum)
