Banners at shows
Was thinking once again the other day about the use of a banner on my display table. I thought about this many years ago and was actually going to do something with scrollsawn items and lettering in it being I am a scroller but never had the time. I am talking about one that can be hung from the front of a table. My shows do not always lend themselves to be able to hang them behind me or above me.
My question is does anyone use this type of advertising on your tables at shows or do you use other forms of advertising and if so photos would be greatly appreciated.
If you use any type banner where did you get it and is it custom made?? Thanks for the input.

JT some thoughts on this ,if you have something on your table people are already there to be able to read it ,and likewise if its on the front of the table as soon as a few folks gather it becomes partially invisible . For a banner or sign to be effective it needs height , over the top of the crowd ,indoors on something like an umbrella stand for market umbrellas , and on the top section of a Marquee if you have one outdoors, That way when your table is crowded folk can see the reason why from a distance hehe, cheers John . In my case I have made my display my banner to some extent .
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

Our club has a sign with adhesive lettering on and is roughly
2'6" by 2' It can be a little large and is sometimes difficult
to hang in a suitable place.
At our last exhibition I got a piece of lightweight white foam,
the type used to pack around appliances in a carton, which was
about 3" square and about 1'6" long. I then typed the details in
my computer, printed it, and stuck it on the foam.
It can be placed on the display table or with some Blue Tack
stuck on a wall etc. Works a treat.

I had a banner made up a while back, it is 2.4m long, and hangs at the front of my gazebo.

I have a couple of banners that I got made in a rush while overseas. It seams to do the job but I probably would do things a little different next time but considering I got both done for about $50 Australian
Cheers Ian
