Thank you everybody for your input. I really appreciate it. Guess I got sucked in by a great looking website. Sure wish I'd checked around first. What's that damn Italian expression - something about buyer beware!!!
Thanks guys. Guess I just gotta wait and see. At least I've now got some new places to check out.Doesn't play well with others. :~

Actually the USPS DOES have a sea mail option - they officially only make it available to large corporations, but if your parcel is not plastered with airmail stickers, the doofus at the post office is just as likely to chuck it in a surface mail bag.
I had a long & acrimonious correspondence with a US supplier who refused to ship Priority or insured, but claimed to have sent a very expensive book 'Air' - turns out it had been bulk mailed in the US & sent surface as it had just been rubber stamped & not had any stamps or tags attached. Took a bit over 3 months to arrive, and he'll never see another order from me.

Beware of ordering online
I have heard horrible stories on some of my other sites about that company. They take your money and do not deliver the merchandise. Recently I heard a rumor that they are no longer in business.....Mike

In the latest Wood turning Design magazine Steebar has a full-page ad,
you would think that America would have some thing like consumer affairs over there, someone to sort the sods out.

This is the first time in six years I have heard a member of this forum complain about non delivery of an order in these sort of circumstances .
Perhaps ubeaut would allow a forum section to be set up where members can just post a name of such instances without any further comments and if more details are required a pm might suffice to avoid any legal problems.woody U.K.
