Black is black baby !! (or monochome heaven)
Some might have thought my last pens were too colourful, so I thought I'd show your this (almost) monochrome set. These were all completed over the last two days in between waiting for drill bits to cool and cutting/prepping timber blanks.
The cream/ivory black chome streamline caught the attention of a marketing friend so the rest were produced to show clients in the "business decor community". I still have to create 4 or 5 in various timber types to join th blackwood streamline from my last thread.
The black circuit board might join my personal collection.

Top marks Doug, that Ivory/black chrome streamline is slick.

Particularly like photo #7, back lit just right, the ornament adds just enough visual color and shape to set the pens off, and the pens themselves stand out.
Great looking pens and photo. Clean, simple and eye catching."That's why I love my computer,,,,,,,, my friends live in it."

Thanks for the comments guys. As a set, they are really eye-catching when seen in the flesh.
Glad you like shot #7 Ed. I took quite a few with different timing and exposures and finally decided to display two shots. I really wanted to include a nod to the festive season too.
The brief was for clean lines, uncomplicated platings and simpler single colour blanks. Even with the timber ones, they are not interested in feature as much as colour but I'm planning to sneak in a birdseye huon slimline dressed in green.
I've no idea just how they expect to proceed and whether they are buying for clients or buying for themselves for use in front of clients. So far we've only talked about twists because that's all I had on hand when the topic came up and I decided to exclude any clicks or rollerballs as samples.
btw: The props are two of Trevor G's NGR burl blanks.
