    Default Black Titanium Streamlines

    It's that darn frog again,
This is the last of the pens I made recently (I think..... ) They are Black Titanium Streamlines the first 2 Pics are Brown Mallee Burl again and the final 2 pics in this installment of Froggies pens are Sassafras.
Thanks for putting up with all my posts over the past few days but I really did want to show you guys the pens.
Now I can have a few days off.........................

    Nice kit!

I can see I'm going to have to save up the pennies again... (Roll on Chrissy so I can get rid of... errrm... I mean "sell" some of the stock I've built up!)

Are you rounding over the ends of the blanks slightly before assembly?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

    G'day Skew,
Yes sir I sure do its just a personal preference I reckon it makes a nice transition between the blank and the nib etc. It also tends to hide any minor indiscretion between them. I just use some 0 steelwool to do it.

Ah, I thought so. I'm not too sure about the nib end, but it really sets off the centre-bands well. Especially those ones.

I'll have to try to remember to try it for myself.

    Froggie,
Finally a wood I recognize!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!!!! Yahoo!!!!!!! Very nicely done. I still prefer the Brown Mallee though. I like the way you rounded over the ends as it adds a bit of dimension. I am going to have to try that out myself.
Waddayamean take a few days off? Don't start slackin now.....I wanna see more pens and that great Austrailian wood!

    Default Black Titanium

All right, I give up! Where do I send the money for the Black Titanium kits?

Seriously tasty pens, Froggo - just the sort of wood figure and colour I have come to favour.

Now I'll just have to give the "gold" buggers away .....
    Subvert the dominant paradigm!
