Blackwood mechanical pencil two ways
Here are two Cigar kit mechanical pencils in Blackwood. I was asked to get my hands on some 0.9mm mechanical pencil kits, and here are the results. They twist to extend and retract the lead.
Both are finished with 21 coats of thin CA. The darker one is polished with micromesh to 12,000, while the lighter one only has the first grade of micromesh (1500) giving it a low sheen rather than full gloss.
I'm really happy with the results, but welcome your comments and critique.
