Blood wood and Scalpel
I had a special request for 2 fountain pens as thank you gifts for a couple of Doctors, one was a heart specialist and his will be the Bloodwood , the other is a keyhole surgeon , and had to be Teal colored with his trademark
This is the results ,the casting took a couple of tries to stop delamination ,and on this kit the finished wall thickness is about 3 mm or 1/8" .I have lightened the color a bit so the detail is easier to see The kits are Davids (Timberbits) spring blossom in a fountain pen , I am pretty happy these turned out in the end Cheers ~ JohnG'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

Very Nice pens John, the quality I expect no less from you. They will be gifts gratefully received. You have got me stumped, they are Spring Blossom fountain pens, David only has the Roller balls listed on his site. So spill, would have loved a fountain pen when I first ordered my kits. How did you get fountain pens?
Cheers

Beautiful pens John The surgeons will be proudly displaying them, particularly the keyhole man. I think you will get a lot more orders from their mates.

Curious....did you need to bend the blade, or did it remain under the acrylic without issue?
Very well done turningz....can't think of any reason that these won't be well received by the two doctors! Cause I'd like to have them!!
