    Default Blue Spruce Sierra Pen

    Gday Folks,

A sierra pen with blue spruce with a little bit of fiddleback.

First one of these I've done, found the mechanism abit stiff, not sure if I've done something wrong there.

    Comments welcome,

    Ross.

    Ross.
Some mechanism are stiff in this type pen. I spray mine with wd40 and then blow out with air gun on compressor.
Works a charm on stiff one's.
Pen looks nice. Keep up the good work.

Welcome Fozz pen looks fine to me , the mechanisms are packed with grease and sometimes take a bit of usage to free up ,or as cookie says spray and blow cheers ~ John

    Ross,

Who would have thought the old slow growing Blue Spruce had so much character.

    Lovely pen well made.

    Kind regards Peter.

Have had a similar problem and found it to be glue residue inside the tube. If you take the nib end out and see scratch marks from twisting, that's what it may be.

    nice pen
But don"t use WD40 on the mechanism . It can play up on the plastic parts making them harder to use and softening the plastic
