    Hey Ron

    Great pens you have there!

Dipping is a great method that seems to save a lot of time. Pity its so cold in Sydney. The finish seems to go cloudy white if it not warm enough.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thank you David ... I'm at the start of our warm weather so I could dip. It keeps getting warmer and all the snow runoff gets gone and the rivers are clear my pen turning takes a backseat for a while so I can go fly fishing.

Ron. Prob stupid question, but what do you do with the run of after dipping. To my dumb thinking there would be a fair deal of excess running of after you dip.

Not dumb thinking and I don't do anything with it ... just let it pool up all over the base.

Not as much as you would think.

If and when it gets to be so much I can always replace the base or maybe steal one of the wifes silicone cookie sheets and let it drip on that and when dry just peel it off.
