A box of sandpaper????
So,
Some of you may remember, I said I won a few prizes in the IAP birthday bash. One of them was "a box of sandpaper" from Klingspor in the US.
Now, what would you expect when the description was "a box of sandpaper". Well, I had a card in the letterbox to go pick up a parcel from the post office. So in I go, and out she comes with this huge box!!! Now, the address they put on had a bunch of typo's, so I'm amazed they actually found me, but because of that, the woman asked if it was definitely my box. Given the size, I said I wasn't sure, until I found the Klingspor brand on the side of the box.
So I got it home and opened it up. Admittedly, it's all lose packed offcuts, but as you can see from the one piece hanging out of the box, there's a heck of a lot of sandpaper in there. I'll be right for a while in that department at least

Congratulations on the prize.
There should be enough sandpaper there to last a life time.
Why do you need a fireplace in Queensland? Always seems to be very hot and humid every time I go up there.

I love that color you picked for your felt! Is that a royal blue? Very cool. I get tired of the same old greens. I went with a slate blue that has a lot of gray in it depending on the light. Might have to try the brighter blue next time. Is that a Centennial set of balls? I notice the multiple red dots on the cue ball.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.

Glad to see everyone's focussing on the topic at hand, and not my home Decor
Mine's a cheapy Ebay job I'm afraid. Rolls like a 4wd track, especially since a relative sat on the corner of the table and snapped the bolt holding the leg up out of it's cheap plastic support. Cheap set of balls as well. But it's all good, the kids have a blast, and I have the home table advantage when anyone comes over, as they all expect their balls to run straight and true

Neat collection of sandpaper and well done.
Cisco leaving here on Monday (this is Friday is a small box of our timbers as I promised a while ago. I feel a bit overwhelmed figure you could fit my house in that room. I have been sorting out my blanks, SWMBO has declared anything happens to me she will make a parquetry floor with my blanks so I said simply put the pick of gear and timber in the twenty foot shipping container in the side yard and bury me with it rather than sell it for the price I told her I paid for it. Send me a pm with your details.
Regards Peter.
