I have plenty of Coax here which would would produce a similar outcome in silver plated or plain copper.
Maybe I need to have a try at casting.

Very nicely done. Where did you get the braiding and how did you trim the ends??? Thanks for showing.

Hi ' jt ' the braiding came from under the kitchen sink when i replaced the taps. I bought another from bunnings hardware.i cut the fittings off with a small angle grinder.and romoved the hose. When the casting was cured i cut the ends of the blank close to the tube and sanded to the tube with disc sander.
