That is 1 very fantastic pen box you've got there
If your not careful you'll lose the pen there!
There is such nice grain in that wood.
Nice Pick

Another great pen from that fabulous BMB you have Peter but I think it will get lost in that beautiful box.

I can't see the pen in the last photo
WOW that is a nice pen Peter looks like some real nice patterns in that timber.
Just thinking out loud so forgive me. Would a different plating stand out a bit more from that beautiful box?
Well doneCheers Rum Pig

Pen Box
I made the pen from the same Burl of Brown Mallee only to show the matching, I have enough for up to twenty pens and a stack of disks so cutting this 20mm slice in two to make this box deprived the world of only three pens tops not a big sacrifice at all value added the box and pen would sell easy for120 or 150 depending on the market it would target. Two people want to buy the Dealers of Honda and others. No its H for our surname and a keeper, probably wont make another full box rather grooved Desk top plates for a pen separately. Our daughter from America is arriving later in June/July and she will have one with her initial on the top. I could have made twenty pens or more in the set up, design, modify my Pin Router and lots of other needs to make boxes, the surfaces were cut to 2000 grit, the coating cost 16 dollars etc etc as I often say not for the fainthearted. Thank you for sharing my treasures.
It will be
great to see you back in a shed again Sam all the best to everyone, Google slayed me by upgrading Picassa 3 so I have to relearn that program as well.
Regards to all. Peter.

That's pretty Schmick, Pete!
I once made a brown mallee pen for LOML, but it got rejected - didn't look like 'normal' wood! I'll use pine next time...but together with the coffee civility flowed back into him
