    Default Bushing help

Hi all, now I have gotten back into the pen making, I am going through some of the pen bushes I purchased from Timbecon ages ago..

I am at a loss to find out which pens go with the bushes marked "MULTIP"

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful

Get the callipers and check the outside diameters of the bushings.

If all 3 bushings outside diameter is 8.5mm its the slimlines
If all 3 bushings outside diameter is 11.5mm its the Traditional (Pen -3 or RL series pens)
If its a 4 piece, with one piece which has a step in it, its for the Euro (BT series pens)
If not any of the above, its probably the 8mm click (Pen 9)

    Hope it helps.

I had the same problem a while a go.
I measured both diameters and length, to a photo of them and they where duly identified by fellow forum members.

Ok, here are the bushings I am having trouble with.

    Both have the same measurments.

    Narrow: 9mm
    Wide: 11mm
    Length: 20mm

They fit onto a 7mm mandrel.

    Any ideas?

    Kev

I have never bought kits from "Timbecom" and their site doesn't seem to be very informative in this regard. It may be they are discontinued lines. Usually the bushes for 2 part pens have a stepped bush in the centre and the nib and clip bush . You are not going to get much meat on those kits something around a 1/32 " wall thickness. I would check your kits till you find ones with tubes that fit the bushes ,then measure to see if centre band nib fitting and clip fitting match the bushes you have . May be a pencil kit
sorry can't help much on this one good hunting though ! cheers ~ John

They look like a set I got from them, by memory they fit pen 9, that is a fountain pen.
