    Default Camphor Laurel Polaris

    Not much shed time this weekend but here's this arvo's effort. I'm not really in love with this kit but it was a request from a colleague. Her daughter has had a pretty rough time of late and as she likes to write and doodle my colleague wanted a nice pen for her and chose this kit and timber. So we have a chrome Polaris dressed in camphor laurel, sanded to 800 and finished with 20 coats of thin CA. MM to 12000, brasso and Hut ultragloss.

    Personally I think it came up pretty nice but that's just me. As always constructive criticism gladly accepted and thanks for looking.
