    Default Carbon Fibre blank?

    Hi all,

I'm desperately chasing a carbon fibre blank to fit a Jr Statesman kit, like the type that I could normally get from Exotic Blanks in the US of A.

Does anyone have one and would they be willing to part with it? I'm happy to pay, trade and/or grovel, whichever is necessary.

Your help would be much appreciated (and rewarded)

    Reece

I have one for a Baron that I haven't use yet that I bought it from Exotic Blanks. Don't think they are quite the same though.

    Cheers,

Not quite that same, but still a collectors item at present.

    Thanks Dave

Might be worth a try at some of the better hobby supply stores , I bought a meter length of C/F tube suitable for sierras ,was pretty ordinary though as just a satin grey with no patterns

arrow tubes are just straight grained fibre , no weave ,
if no one can help you out i can send you a heap of "3k tow" and you can spend hours weaving the blanks your self ?
also have some 12k tow ( about 10km of it )

the carbon fibre braided sleeves are available and a lot quicker to turn into a blank , its a tube of weaved carbon fibre , bye a slightly larger tube and twisting it will reduce its diameter
