    Default First Cartridge Pen

    I finished my first cartridge pen this weekend. I made this pen for my girlfriends cousin that is in the Marines. The casings are .308 sniper rounds, the top is deer antler.
    Soldered the tube in and used epoxy for the tip. I used high gloss HUT for the finish on the antler. C&C welcome and appreciated.

    If I was to be critical I would say it is a bit thick on the top but that is only my opinion

    Well done for your first!
    For your next one to look more authentic, seat you bullet nib deeper the same as an actual .308 cartridge and try shortening you cap.
