    Default Casting help

I'd like to have a go at resin casting and I have a few questions -

    1. Resin saver moulds - how, where, what types are available and cost (can't find a website)
    2. Where to buy resin and colouring

I've done some research, You Tube and web surfing. I have some idea about the casting process but as yet have not actually cast any. All help and advice especially on what works and where to purchase it would be very much appreciated.

Here is an excellent article on casting.

Here is one on making molds. In fact it was written by one of your country men.

You can find other casting articles at the IAP: IAP Home

Sorry, can't help you with where to get stuff in your part of the world.

I use barnes for my resin and also if you choose to make some molds they have good silicone to do that job.

Amos - Thanks for the info, I contacted Charlie and have moulds coming soon.

Don - Some very useful information in those links. Thanks for the help.

Dorno - Thanks for the link to Barnes, it will be very handy. I'm busy reading everything on the forum in an effort to catch up with you guys.

    I'm not addicted to pens...honest.
