Cebloplast Kitless 1
Moved on from the Quadroperlato, this is Cebloplast Serpentine, the material is similar in its low melting point to Quadroperlato. It was used in the early days by Parker I believe.
Anyway , here it is, and hope you like it. Amos

Hi Amos
I see you are getting into the kitlees thing. Have a few questions if you don't mind. Why is the first one. What is about kitless that is driving you?? Do you like the look of these moreso than kit pens or component pens as some like to call them in fear of degrading their work by calling them kits. I just can't wrap my head around the fuss about kitless. I see only fountain pens in kitless is that for any reason??
I know I will never go kitless for there are too many kits that appeal to me and I think I can do my creativeness in the blank material and design,
Your pen looks good. I always loved that material and I find it easy to work with and a pleasure. Thanks for showing and for answering the question. Curious minds want to know.

Thanks all,. JTT, for me it is the desire for creativity and skill, I still love the kit pens, have nothing against them, and as you say, there is so much that can be varied on the creativity side in that area. At the moment I am still in the skill learning side of it and not able to be as creative as Fred--he has the skill and can be creative! . As for bling, I think if I had the skill my pens would be blingy!!--that is just me though, many love the straight plain look and nothing wrong with that either. In short, I am just learning more and more all the time, I see skills on this forum that are outstanding- some in the castings, some in the finishes, some in the innovations of style, just love it all--I want to make my own sections and clips!, and so it goes. PS as for the fountain pens in kitless, it is quite easy to make them RollerBalls by changing the bottom section. Hope that helps a little, Amos

Amos
Thanks for the reply. I have asked this elsewhere and it seems the same answer keeps coming up and that is the challenge of it. I don't think you should sell yourself short though. I have seen your work here.
I guess it is just another phase of penturning in general and has caught a little bit of steam lately so that is why we are seeing more of this type pens. Hopefully more and more creativety can come out of this form and maybe this will launch the next great thing we as penturners have been waiting for.
Thanks again and keep up the great work and the strides to get even better. Nice job once again on the pen shown.

Bee-U-Tifal work Amos.
Its time I started doing a few different pens I think. Although maybe I should just perfect my timber work first.

Greg,
What you will learn doing "other" stuff will cross over and help you make your wood pens even better."That's why I love my computer,,,,,,,, my friends live in it."
