center bands
OK people bdar just brought up an interesting satement too jude A about center bands iput in my two cents worth how about yours .Do you just use the makers center bands or do you put in your own? mine are usually corrian or pickguard plastic whats yours?What cool and inovative ideas do you have.

I have also glued some coloured card stock together of contrasting colours for a CB on a pen once. Rodent you metioned in the thread to Dazzler's topic, acrylic offcuts make an interesting mixed media pen, eg ebony barrels with a black with white swirl acrylic CB.

what i want to do is solder up two tubes and solder on some surface mount components and mini resistors .then imbed it in resin should look good .auminium and pewter should turn well for center bands as well.I have also used coloured perspex .
